Trevor Eisenhauer
Founder, Eisenhauer Marketing
Trevor Eisenhauer has spent 15+ years in marketing and search. He writes the content and designs it, so nobody has to explain the brief twice. The path here took a few detours.
He started at Penn State in 2001 and decided after two years that it wasn’t for him. So he took a dispatch job at a trucking company. It paid the bills and not much else. In 2006 he started freelance writing on the side and kept at it for a few years. In 2011 he went back to school while still working dispatch, and in 2013 he finished a BFA in digital media production at the International Academy of Design and Technology.
In 2012 he left trucking for a design job at a local outsourcing firm, making newspaper and magazine ads that ran in states all over the US. His work looked the most polished, so he got the new builds while the quick updates went to everyone else. He made ads for Sprint and Verizon stores, Best Western hotels, GM dealers, Xbox, restaurants, credit unions, dentists, eye doctors and plenty more.
That same year he started freelancing for Axero, a B2B SaaS company that makes intranet software. It turned part-time in 2013 and full-time in 2014. He stayed over ten years and finished as Director of Marketing. Until about 2019 he was the only marketing hire, and after that he had one writer working from his direction. SEO was Axero’s main source of leads, and Trevor led the strategy, content and design behind it. He set up and ran HubSpot for both marketing and sales, including the first pipelines and workflows, and managed agencies, writers and designers. While he was there, ARR grew to $8M+ and the company grew from about five people to 50. In 2022 he beat his lead-gen goals by 40% and put $18.5M in SQL pipeline in front of sales. Along the way, Axero went through an eight-figure acquisition.
After leaving Axero in 2023, he’s done marketing consulting, writing and designing blog posts, sales pieces and websites for software companies and more. Some of that work is on the Work page.
Now he runs Eisenhauer Marketing and sells two things to B2B SaaS teams: SEO blog posts built to rank in Google and be quoted in AI answers, and AI search and SEO audits that show whether ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews cite your site. Both are fixed scope and fixed price. AI tools help with research and drafts. Trevor edits every piece and checks every fact.
He also cofounded Resultris, a San Diego agency the Axero founding team started in 2023. It’s one senior team for marketing and software: content, SEO, web design, custom software and AI development. Trevor writes and designs its SEO playbooks. So if he tells you something works, he’s tried it.
Trevor lives in Wilkes-Barre, PA, with three kids, so he’s good at deadlines and noise.
